In today’s world that is getting more and more wired, the word patience is almost becoming extinct. However, people tend to forget that the universe cares not about our trivial worries and concerns. Rather, the day continues to be twenty-four hours, the week continues to be seven days, and the year continues to be 365 days. So, what does this tell us? This tells us that we can plan our lives and schedule things, and consciously eliminate the chaos that so many people let dominate their lives. For professionals like myself, it is absolutely crazy to let unnecessary chaos dominate my day. Sure, there are crazy drivers on the road, and crazy and irrational people in the world. However, I do my best to try to deal with these people and situations to my favor. The best way to handle stress and seeming chaos is by practicing one sacred word: patience. The power of patience is absolutely phenomenal. It will help you transform all things for the better, even situations and circumstances that you think are destined for disaster. Just off the top of my head, here are twenty-five (25) reasons to practice patience, or in other words, twenty-five (25) ways that patience will help you.

  1. Patience will help you overcome road-rage when another car almost hits yours.
  2. Patience will help you to overcome anger when someone insults you, face to face.
  3. Patience will help you to overcome stress related to bills and expenses, at least the air is free.
  4. Patience will help you to sleep better, since you cannot solve all your problems in one day.
  5. Patience will help you as a student because it will help you to listen better.
  6. Patience will help you as a teacher or instructor to accept the limitations of your students.
  7. Patience will help you as a professional to divide your work and see it in steps, or phases.
  8. Patience will help you as a boss or manager to empathize with the challenges your workers face.
  9. Patience will help you as a business owner to build new client relationships.
  10. Patience will help you as a customer to empathize with the bill sent by your vendor.
  11. Patience will help you to empathize with the sick and needy because we have all been sick.
  12. Patience will help you to empathize with customer service because they make a low salary.
  13. Patience will help you to focus better, because you will be making time for all work.
  14. Patience will help you in meetings, because you will not be worrying about the next one.
  15. Patience will help you as a parent because you were a teenager once yourself.
  16. Patience will help you as sports coach because sports training can be demanding.
  17. Patience will help you on your computer because you really don’t have enough memory (RAM).
  18. Patience will help you build friendships because you empathize with your friends’ struggles.
  19. Patience will help you with your love life because you know just how precious that is.
  20. Patience will help you with family relations because you accept their ignorance of your needs.
  21. Patience will help you with professional relations because everybody truly is busy, busy, busy.
  22. Patience will help you to listen to your doctor, who truly speaks with experience.
  23. Patience will help you when you travel, because more and more people travel today.
  24. Patience will help you on social networks, because networking is growing dynamically, daily.
  25. Patience will help you become a winner, because you know that small steps climb big mountains.

All The Best,
Keith
