Voice of the Silence: Great Read
Written by Keith Johnson - Posted on July 7th, 2009
This blog (Great Documents Dot Net) is primarily devoted to Technical Writing and Computer Software. From time to time, however, I like to post additional things like good books and inspiring ideas. This is because our human experience goes beyond the day-to-day routine of work, sleep, eat, and drive to and from one’s job. Rather, we need to tap into “that” which energizes us and moves us into higher awareness. This is what gives us a new sense of being and allows us, ultimately, to excel in our professional and personal paths.
Today, I have chosen as my blog topic, the book “Voice of the Silence” by the late mystic and author Madame Blavatsky. She was interested in integrating wisdom and knowledge from the east and west. She researched alot, studied alot, prayed alot, and meditated alot. So, I value her words, even though she is from a previous century. Her words are timeless and wisdom timeless as well. Her wisdom is exemplified in this short yet powerful book, The Voice of the Silence.
Essentially, what Madame Blavatsky is saying in this book is that silence is a blessing. Sometimes, yes, we miss conversation and the sound of familiar voices and sounds. However, ultimately, silence allows for us to get attuned to the Universe itself and emerge as re-energized individuals. Silence is totally free, and you don’t have to join some group, cult, or club to experience it. Silence is the default mode or way of the Universe, and it is natural for us to enjoy silence and in that way we benefit.
Today, this book is free and online. Just click on the link below and I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. Remember, as we rest in silence, we recharge the batteries, get a new and fresh perspective on things, and allow ourselves to re-emerge with new and creative energies.
Discover The Voice of the Silence (Online).
All The Best,
Keith

@All My Readers: Even if new-age thinking is not your cup-of-tea, enjoy silence while you take your breaks and lunch. Yes, it’s fun to enjoy that “power lunch”. However, it is also enjoyable to enjoy silence and you can discover the rejuvenating effects of silence and stillness.
