If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
At every step in your Microsoft Word document creation process, you can INSTANTLY know what your options are, with respect to the Menu. How so? Simply RIGHT CLICK your mouse and you will know exactly what you can or cannot do based upon the options that appear in the pop-up window (displayed above). The screen displayed above is just one of many possibilities, because in this instance the user is just entering or editing text. However, there are, of course, other scenarios where the cursor might be in a cell of a table, or over an image, or in the header or footer regions of the document.
I know of few people who can memorize ALL options that are immediately available to him or her in the menu. So, if you wish to perform an operation in the document, simply right click on your mouse, and the pop-up window that is displayed will show you EXACTLY what can be done at that particular instance. This feature is an universal feature of the mouse button, and when working with Microsoft Word 2007 or any other word processing software for that matter, you can rest assured that as you progress in your document, you have the guidance of sound software design by the product you are currently using to produce your “great documents”.
